Synopsis

A star professor, wracked with self-loathing after a third divorce, catches himself admiring a student- a girl in a red coat. Turns out the nineteen-year old Annie is a huge fan of his work. This gripping new play turns the archetypal student-teacher romance on its head for the post-#MeToo era. Winner of the 2021 Governor General’s Award.
