Fresh from a triumphant run at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, JOSIAH returns to Kingston with four ★★★★★ reviews, a Fringe Theatre Gold Award and the Binge Fringe Best Performer Award.
Performed by Cassel Miles, this powerful one-man play tells the remarkable true story of Josiah Henson — born into slavery in Maryland, escaping to freedom in Canada and becoming a respected leader, teacher and abolitionist whose life helped inspire Uncle Tom’s Cabin.
Presented by Thousand Miles of Bricks Productions in partnership with Theatre Kingston, these two special performances support the future of live theatre, with proceeds benefiting Theatre Kingston.
