Taking Care of the Browns at Studio Theatre Perth is a heart-warming, old-fashioned comedy about family and friendship and well-behaved house guests. Danny’s a teacher. Susan’s a librarian. They’re nice people. They were raised by nice parents. So when Janet needs help moving, they help, despite the fact they don’t know her. And when Janet needs to find a home for her dead parents, they take them in and take care of them. How much trouble could a couple of urns be?
Synopsis
The Browns is written by Belleville-based playwright Peter Paylor, directed by Grey Masson and starring Joanna McAuley-Treffers, Lucas Tennant, Rob Glas and Meredith Millman. Performances are February 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 & 19 at 7:30pm and February 13 and 20 at 2pm. Tickets are $24 ($19 on opening night). Rush tickets ($10) are available at the door on the day of the performance for students with ID.
Audience members will be required to show ID and QR coded proof of vaccination in order to attend.
